I just got Arceus Arc Cynthia in just one try-

I’m currently making Trypophobia (Figured out the characters, the plot, and the trauma events)..

But I kinda wanted to try and do a series.. specifically “Next Journey” or New Journey— which I’m just gonna rename into “Flies in a Web”.

It’s the sequel of “Emerald”.

Hey everyone! We've decided to update the rules. A new rule has been added that disallows using real-life murders as direct inspiration for pastas posted here. Turning real crimes with real victims into Pokemon fanfiction is highly disrespectful.

If you've done this in the past, you're not in trouble; pages violating this rule created before now will just be deleted and redirect to a special page.

Hey everyone! We've decided to host a new event! It's not a contest, so no prizes; this is just for fun. Still, we hope you decide to join!

The challenge is to create a pokepasta OC! For those who don't know, OC is short for original character. There's no need to write a whole story for them. All you have to do is make a character, or multiple connected characters-- a trainer and Pokemon duo, for example. Sounds easy, right? The catch is that you need to work in teams of two to four!

You can organize your team however you'd like. You can assign distinct roles to each team member, such as artist or lore writer, or you can all get in a chatroom and brainstorm together. Anything works, as long as everyone contributes! Each team is permitted to submit one entry, so make it count!

In short, here are the requirements for an entry:

• Create a character or characters that could be written into a pokepasta

• Include least one drawing of each character, depicting their whole body

• Include at least three sentences of backstory or lore

• Mention whether you're ok with others using the character or characters

If you decide to enter, you can post your finished entry as a blog post and add the Team OC challenge 2024 category. Please do not post anything unrelated in that category! Additionally, do not post entries as pages unless they include an entire pokepasta! If you do finish a story featuring an OC created for this challenge, you may post it as a page and put it in the same category.

If you want to participate but don't have anyone to work with, reply to this post with "looking for team" or something to that effect, or look through the replies for someone else looking. Feel free to reply with questions, too-- we don't bite!

Please. Actually read the rules…

1. Avoids you getting in trouble.

2. Saves us having to repeat ourselves and having to delete your WIP (honestly, makes me feel bad sometimes, but its clearly stated in the rules.)
