“Ethan.” There’s a weak startled call of his name as errathan holds onto a small pokeball. “Put that down.”

“Put it down?” Errathan tilts his head and giggles. “No can do silvy! Watch!” The pokemon he caught is let free to roam. It’s a pokemon neither of them know the name of but it has an imposing feeling to it. It just feels dangerous. Silvertic frowns at the pokemon and takes a step back, errathan clicks his fingers and that step is stuck mid motion.

“Sorry, but I had an idea while you were gone!”

“Not now eth—“

“Errathan” he smiles as he corrects silvertic, the other scoffing and trying to look away, though he can’t. The malamar tilts its head and sivertics body moves on its own.

The trainer being forced to walk towards errathan and the squidlike pokemon before pausing in front of them. Errthan puts his hands on his hips as he looks around, scouting out the area for something…anything he could give the redhe—ah! He found something! He practically skips over to the tree and scoops up the sharp pointed rock, giving it to silvertic.

“What is this for?”

“Hit me with it.” errathan grins, wide eyed.

“What?! No!”

“Come on, you know you want too~” the less sane of the two giggles. “Come on ,come on, do it!” finally silvertic is able to move, but when he attempts to toss that rock, his hand refuses to cooperate. “Im not that silly~” errathan hums “i knew youd try throwing it, so i’m not making them let go of you completely until you do what i asked!”

“I am not hitting you! I could kill you!”

“Kill me then”

“...what?”

“You heard me” errathan tilts his head with a strangely sweet smile. “Kill me if you have to, prove the point.” silvertic shakes his head and errathan sighs, then his body moves by itself again.

The malamar forces him to raise his hand , aiming for where errathan stands and no matter how hard he attempts to pull it away he can’t. It wont let him.

“Errathan-” but errathan , instead of smiling- is frowning. Did he really want to be hit that badly? Why? That didnt make any sense…This didn’t make any sense! Sure they had fights but– Errthan grumbles under his breath, before getting up in silvertics face, still in line for the hit with the stone he had forced into silvertics hand.

“You will hit me. Or i will force you too. It’s this or that my sweeeeet~” Silvertic feels his stomach flip- feels his face drip with sweat.

He only has to hit him once, right?

Just once…it won’t be so bad, right?

Just once then this’ll stop and everything will go back to normal, right?Alright. Alright. He’ll do it, just to get this over with; closing his eyes he steels his nerves.

The rock is tossed into the distance.

When silvertic opens his eyes he hears the laugher before he sees it. Errathan is cackling and the malamar seems rather proud of its, seemingly smirking, or atleast it sort of looked like that. Silvertic looked between the both of them with confusion. Didn’t errathan want to be hit? Isn’t that why he went through all of this? Wasted all that time? He was about to do it, why did he get forced to throw it instead?!

Silvertic snarls as the malamar is called back into the pokeball and ethan finishes up his laughing, wiping his tears away with a finger.

“You’re so easy to mess with!” errathan giggles.

“I strongly dislike you…” silvertic grumbles, that anger ever so slowly melting away.
