I was 10 years old when I started playing Pokémon Black and White, however I don't recall much since it's been so long, but I remember this one creepy incident that scarred me for life.
Beginning Memory[]
My trainer name was Gabriel and my team consistented of Poseidon the Samurott, Ivy the Leavanny, Odalia the Mandibuzz, Ares the Victini, Violet the Shiny Mienshao and Blight the Reshiram.
They were really great pokemons at the time of playing, it did took me awhile to get a shiny Mienshao but I did and caught it. I did beat N and Ghetsis despite having all of my mons fainted and tried more than once to beat them.
With nothing to do in the post game at the time but I started exploring around anyways, I fought my rivals again and I visited Castelia City but upon walking Marvelous Bridge, I tried to talk one of the NPCs, the woman just disappeared.
At first, I thought it was normal glitch but apparently it's a real thing in the game, as i talked to this old lady and said; "Did you know? Before Marvelous Bridge was built, there was a girl who always played with Abra around here. She was so full of energy." Of course, my 10 year old self did not know what that mean, but I realized that the woman died at that same bridge. But how?
After this, I just continued my exploring until I got bored, however upon looking through the pokedex, I read Abra's; "It distrusts humans regularly, only teleporting to escape for them. Sometimes they find a way to make the human leave..." what does that mean? Could it be that the woman's Abra was the one who killed its own trainer? But this seemed like a joke, so I ignored it.
Second Appearance[]
A year later I got my copy of Black 2, this time I played the female character, named Susie and had a much different team, it consistented of:
Serenade the Serperior, Toxic the Scolipede, Lavaca the Magmortar, Dracula the Gliscor, Aquamarina the Vapereon and Kanto the Lucario.
It was a much better team than my black team, As I visited the Strange House that apparently was where you can get a Spell Tag, however I realized I found the same woman from my Black file again, the one from Marvelous Bridge, she was saying...

Abra... Abra... Abra... Why did you do this to me....?
What did... you... do.. to my... mom... and ...dad..?
As soon she said all that, she disappeared. I was so shocked but I wanted continued playing until I enter a room where I found an item.. an item called; Twisted Spoon. Supposedly, a Twisted Spoon is what powers Psychic type moves. But why was it here...?
But then I remembered... the Abra Line... Kadabra and Alakazam. They were holding Spoons of their telekinesis to attack. I was shaking up and as soon I tried to leave, the woman appeared again, she knew I was there and said this.
Dear Trainer... Please... Free us... Free me and my family... Abra Abra Abra.... Let us free... Trainer.... Abra Abra Abra.... (my real name) Help us... HELP US!!!
And then, she's gone... but... how did she knew my real name? I couldn't handle it and left the strange house and turned off my DS for the night. It was late and I was so tired but scared, I went to sleep that night...
Worse Fate[]
2 weeks later, I visited my friend's house to trade some Pokémon, I wanted to complete the dex to get that shiny mark. Then we decided to battle each other, I did rage a bit and so did my friend, but we had fun. However his sister started wondering around the house for no reason, I asked what's up with her; "I don't know, she said she's with her friend..", at first, I thought it was an imaginary friend that kids used to do. So me and my friend continued hanging out, and then his sister wanted to play too, we told her no but decided to allow her anyways. Now she doesn't know much about Pokémon since she just got her DS a week ago.
I taught her the basics and rules of the game while my friend was making some popcorn for us, She was playing White for the first time and picked Tepig for her starter, I guided her to beat Cilan and Chili with ease. Then we wanted to fight Lenora, however upon beating her, instead of her usual sprite, she seemed... sad and she didn't say anything else and just gave the badge and TM. I brushed it off immediately as soon the pizza delivery arrived.
Overall, it was going pretty well, but then my friend's sister says this "I heard Pokémon are treated as minions for their trainers, Which makes me feel bad for them..." I was bit confused and told her that it's not true in a certain degree. I asked her who said that ...
"My friend, Abra did!"
I was scared for a bit, she kept playing the game while I just stood there. Few hours later, she made it to Castelia City, however I noticed the Woman isn't there but instead an item, as she picked up it, it was... a letter? Of course, that was never there when I first played this game, she couldn't read, so I read it myself. It was terrifying...
"HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP!!!! ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA!!!! LET ME GO! LET ME GO! LET ME GO!!! LET... ME G-Go........"
I was so fucking scared, I almost dropped the DS but caught it time, my friend asked me what's up and showed him the DS, he was scared too while his sister was confused. As soon their mother, I saved the game file and shut the DS off immediately, giving it back to her. Me and my friend were so scared about that letter. Why was it there? Who wrote it?
As soon I got home, I immediately rushed to my room to open up my DS to start to play Black and head back to the Marvelous Bridge, I found... the item again, so I picked it up. I thought it would be the latter but.. instead.. a rare Bone?
I panicked and then even more when texts start flashing on the screen of my DS.
"ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA ABRA"
I screamed and threw my DS into the closet and closed it immediately. My dad asked what was wrong and showed him the game, he was confused but then turned off the game, he told me that too much playing video games makes you go insane and to go to bed. I agreed anyways and went to bed.
I did not touch the DS for a month...
Missing[]
It's been a month, I did not play Gen 5 for awhile and focused on school, it was going alright. However I noticed my friend hasn't been to school for 2 weeks. I was worried and visited his house... It's being rented? Already? They said they were moving until next April. I asked his mom of what happened to him, she started crying. His dad told me that my friend went missing for 2 weeks, the last time he was seen was walking back from school. I panicked and comforted them but then I saw his little sister was holding plushie that looked like Banette.
It looked creepy and she knew but she said it's protects her from harm. What harm? "Abra." She said. I suddenly tripped and fell onto the concrete floor and she screamed a bit, her parents came over and helped me up, I got a bloody nose and some marks on my face. I was more worried about my friend who just mysteriously disappeared.
They amused he ran away due to something he didn't want to tell but I know my best friend, he would never do that. As soon I came back home, My dad and mom hugged me, they knew about my friend's disappearance.
The next day, It was Saturday, I finished my homework and decided to watch TV, but then the news channel appeared.
My friend was found dead in a pit.... I was so shocked, but that's not worse.. His parents were found dead too on the side of the road. I quickly told my mom and she was shocked too, I started to cry... What happened to them? Who would do this?
It's revealed, their necks and limbs were snapped and their faces were gaping and soulless, almost as if, they were being choked... or.. something else.
A week later after the funeral, I was.. depressed for a bit, even other kids was sad to see him go. I noticed his little sister is the only one alive, which thank God but she was still holding the Banette plush and being bullied too. I quickly scared them away and comforted her, she was.. quiet. No words. I tried to get her to respond but nothing. Recess was over and soon I was about to leave, she finally responded and said this. "Find... Abra.."
I suddenly remember about Abra and that woman.. what did she mean? Of course, she was gone before I could ask her. So, I went back home and opened the closet. There was the DS that I left for a month. With no choices, I decided to open my Black file again.
Abra Abra Abra[]
I was still at the same place... Marvelous Bridge. Except.. No music? I checked the settings... there is music. But where? I was so confused but I kept going, nothing. Until I talked to the old lady.
"She was so full of energy. Too much energy... Her Abra did not like it..."
My eyes widen and i started getting goosebumps again. I tried looking everywhere... Nothing. So I closed the game. But then I remembered.. The Strange House in Black and White 2.
I immediately opened up my Black 2 file, there I was, infront of the place... I entered in with courage. I looked around. Nothing. But then.. Lavender Town... it's here..?
My game started playing Lavender Town from the original pokemon games, I tried to lower the volume, it wouldn't work. My ears were ringing so much, I wore my headphones to listen to music to not hear it.
I continued exploring and then I went to the same room where I found the Twisted Spoon. There it was...
Abra[]
It just stood there. I interacted with it. And it screams. Suddenly... a battle?
A trainer battle?!
"Abra wants to battle!"
What?! What is going on?!
"Abra sends out... Little Girl!"
It was a little girl sprite, but her head is twisted and her hands were broken. I had no choice but to beat her.
"Abra sends out... Daddy!" "Abra sends out Mommy!"
It was a sprite of a male and female trainer but their eyes are gouged out and their arms and legs were gone. Of course, I had to beat them.
"Abra sends out... (My friend's real name)!"
I.. was... terrified. It's the same thing as what he looked like in real life and similar of what he looked in the news. I was crying but I had no choice...
"Abra sends out... Sarah!"
Sarah...?
....
It was the NPC woman. Her face was gone and her entire body was just... transparent.
"Abra... Abra.....Ab-..."
She groaned... and... I had to beat her.
Abra's last pokemon.... Who is it...?
"Abra sends out Abra!"
Itself? It's sending out itself.
"Abra..."
I was shocked but I wanted revenge on it for killing my best friend and those innocent people, I had Lucario to use Dark Pulse at it... Abra dodged the attack and kills her.. immediately...
what....
I send out all of my pokemons. All.. dead..
"Abra... Wins... Abra must... teach... You... to.... suffer..."
My DS started overheating and I immediately shut it down. I just stood here about an hour... Until I opened mh game again.
Pitch black... I amsued it was my DS dying but no. Its the game, I couldn't leave or turn it off for some reason now.
I was standing here for more than 3 minutes until. Abra showed up.
"Hehe... Abra caught you..."
It's talking...
"Abra hates you humans..." "I deserve better..." "No more human games..." "Let's play my game..."
As soon it says that, I'm immediately put into a pokemon battle... I had no pokemons left, only myself, I tried to leave the game but no use and the Lavender Town music was getting louder.
I kept getting hit and kept trying to run. Nothing.
I was one health...
"Abra tells you... Goodbye...!"
And then... my DS battery died...
I was so fucking scared... Did it corrupt my game?
I waited for it to charge.. and went back..
I'm... back home? Back where I got my first pokemon..
Except, Bianca and Cherrn didn't show up.
I went ahead and opened the gift.
Only one pokeball. What was it...?
...
Abra...
It tried to make me choose Abra but I immediacy turned off my DS. 5 minutes later, I opened it again.
I was.. at a different place. Like the Distortion world from Platinum. There was a pokeball... Banette.
I decided to pick Banette, named her Banshee and went around, nothing. Until, Abra returns again and forces me to battle with itself.
I had only one pokemon. Banshee the Banette.
I was so scared but then Banshee uses... Phantom Force... and kills Abra...
"Abra.... L-lost....."
We did it... Abra is gone....
And then, I was sent back to the real-world... but in a cloudy area and met... the woman and the other people Abra killed...
"It is done... You finally set us free... Thank you... (my real name) and Banette..."
I was... so shocked... but then I noticed, I'm at heaven...
As soon the souls left, I was then sent back to Castelia City, infront of a memorial grave...
"Rest in Peace... Sarah."
