Welcome to the Pokepasta Wiki.

The Pokepasta Wiki is an online community and wiki which anyone can contribute to at any place, anytime, as long as they have Internet access!

The stories within this wiki are varied, covering all sorts of scary or sad subject matters which include, but are not limited to, childhood memories you couldn't forget, games or roms which 'hate' you, creepy stories within the pokemon universe, a life or death situation, the death of a beloved person or Pokemon, and more!

📖 All stories found on this site are works of fiction, even if the page states otherwise. 📖

General Rules (READ THESE!)

There are several rules for everyone's convenience and safety. Three strikes and you're out, so read the rules carefully!

RULES:

  1. The primary purpose of every page MUST be to present a story classifiable as a Pokepasta. Character Pages (Pages that are created to hold information about a single character) are not classifiable as a Pokepasta and therefore are not allowed, neither are stories with nothing to do with pokemon / pokepasta. This is not a place to upload shipping fan-fictions for pre-existing characters, such as the characters from the Hypno's Lullaby mod, especially without the original character owners permission.
  2. All pages MUST be written in English. Unfortunately, none of the mods can understand any other languages and are thus unable to moderate non-English pages. Translations ARE allowed with the original creator's permission! Translated works can and should link to their original versions. If new staff members fluent in other languages are accepted, this rule is likely to change.
  3. Include content warnings. These are to be added at the top of pages containing potentially triggering content so that readers know what storie they have to avoid. See this forum post for more information.
  4. DO NOT make pastas based on/ using real life crimes. Respect the victims and don’t use their suffering for your own work. If you are found to be doing this your story will be removed and you will be directed a reason for its deletion. If you ignore this and repost it, due to this being an extremely serious rule, you will be banned.
  5. Absolutely no plagiarism. This includes taking credit for pastas you didn't write and taking passages directly from other work. If you are found to be using a section from another work it is possible your story may stay up but the plagiarised section will be highlighted and need to be fixed / removed promptly. If you take no action the whole story will be removed. Stories that are extremely close in concept, structure, and plot to existing stories may also be considered plagiarism. Taking some inspiration from your favorite stories is fine, of course, but there is a line between being inspired and ripping something off.
  6. Only repost pastas that you have permission to repost. Please make sure you get permission from the original author before reposting pastas to the wiki. This can be done by messaging the author directly or commenting on their work etc.
  7. DON’T vandalize pages. Editing someone else's pasta, unless you are fixing spelling or grammar, is usually considered vandalism. This includes adding unrelated/ harmful images, unrelated/ offensive words etc. It’s best to just leave all writing within a pasta to how it was written other than if you are fixing spelling or grammar. Adding fanart to dedicated fanart sections in pokepasta’s is fine, but they must have a dedicated section, if they do not, you can leave it in the comments!
  8. Trollpastas CANNOT be posted as pages. If you want to share one, use a blog post. This is because they do not actually class as pokepastas and can clog up the actual pokepasta pages. Trollpastas must also follow all of the rules of normal pokepastas; just because it is a joke story, that does not mean you are exempt from the rules.
  9. DON’T post unfinished pastas as pages. If you need somewhere to save a work in progress, you can use a blog post. This is again because they clog up the space of actual pokepastas. No one wants to be reading a pokepasta only to find out its halfway written and been stuck in development hell for years, do they? SOME pokepastas are interactive and therefore are excluded from this rule, however this must be discussed with a moderator before hand.
  10. Explicit sexual content is prohibited. Pretty simple to understand. I don’t think this requires an explanation. Use your common sense and if you’re confused on something regarding this rule, contact a moderator/admin.
  11. Every page MUST have the category 'Pokemon' in it . This is because it's very hard to track down pages that don't have them. It also allows your pokepasta to possibly appear in the trending tab if enough people read it! Your story will also appear in ‘all stories’ for the category. Another recommended tag is the ‘pokepasta’ tag.
  12. Do NOT add redundant or unnecessary categories. This is because it makes the categories section cluttered. It’s best to keep your work within 5 tags and maximum and keep it to the key tags. An example of tags would be: Pokemon, Pokemon X, Generation 6, Trainer Calem, Hacked Game.
  13. Get PERMISSION from the artist before uploading images to the wiki. You must also give credit in the image caption within the pokepasta it is posted to. This is so that people know who the artist is and that artist gets their fair share of appreciation.
  14. AI-generated works, be they stories or images, are NOT allowed. This wiki is not for AI-generated works, this is a place for Human creativity. There are plenty of talented people on this site / in this fandom that will gladly help you write a pokepasta or draw up a design if you ask. Asking people for help is always a great place to start, who knows, maybe you’ll even make some more friends this way!
  15. Do NOT direct people to anything that is not allowed on wiki. Directing people to content that would not be allowed on the wiki is also prohibited. This includes directs to other places that are posted within pokepastas in comments, in chatting areas or on a member's wall.
  16. Be RESPECTFUL to others! Breaking this rule offsite can still lead to warnings or bans. Please be cautious of this rule as it is taken very seriously. Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated.
  17. Do NOT spam. —Links, images or anything else should not be spammed in the comment sections of pokepasta’s, in the talking areas or on a members wall. This also means that you should not spam create pokepastas. Please just use common sense if you're unsure what counts as spamming, or ask.
⚠️ If a person was caught breaking these rules three times or more, it will result in a ban. Particularly severe offenses may be grounds for an instant ban at the moderators' discretion. ⚠️

🔸Please report a cyberbully or a rule-breaker to an active Administrator or Moderator.

Please try to remember it all, and good luck on your stories! If you are unsure on something regarding the rules or need help with anything, please ask a moderator!

Depending on how bad the situation is, we may or may not use the three strikes option. The Admins reserve the right to ban people without warning.
